While I typically only do one of these drawings per day, because I didn’t do one on Monday I decided to use today to make up for it, since both this drawing and the one I did this morning were both relatively simple to drake. Speaking of the last drawing, I said in that one that the next creature I drew would be an even weirder pick for the Wind element than the flying squirrel was, and now I’m sure you all know exactly what I meant by that. This guy right here is based on the Japanese Flying Squid, a small species that pretty much do the same thing as flying fish but way better. Because squids have jet propulsion like most cephalopods, they can draw water into their bodies before takeoff and they shoot it back out at high pressure to launch themselves into the air, using both their fins and webbing between their tentacles as wings to keep airborne. This superior flying ability compared to the fish is why I chose the squid for this element, plus it helps to maintain the variety that I want for all of these creatures, so it couldn’t be a more perfect fit for the collection. I hope all of you like this one and I’ll see you tomorrow for an entry that’s still unique but will be a bit more conventional of a pick!
Yeah, you're right about it being a bug. I just saw another person's comment show up 4 times, haha
Also, remember that the grid has a lot of space, and you can make it bigger! It would definitely be very tedious, but if you open another tab of Grid Paint for reference, you can copy down each creature. Or just winging it is fine if you're okay with the creatures not being totally the same as the original. I'm not saying you should, because again, that's probably very tedious, but that's how I would go about getting multiple creatures in a drawing.

It’s alright. Probably a bug or a misclick or something. Don’t worry about it. I think it would look cool to have all of my Wind creatures together in a single drawing- and to do the same for the rest of the elements- though at present I don’t know how I’d make that work. Still a really cool idea!
