INFO: Renkou. That's the only name she's remembered since she escaped the damned lab. Renko was once entirely a human who had a terrible illness. There was this lab that had claimed to have the cure for this illness. She accepted this offer, not entirely by her choice. After many, many tries, Renkou then discovered that these people didn't actually wish to help her, but were instead experimenting on her illegally. She was one of few escapees of the lab, accompanied by various hybrids. She was free. But something didn't feel right. A part of her felt...Missing. To avoid trouble from the police, she resided where she could, even if it was in an alleyway. One night, she awoke to a demon eating a man. But she was far too busy pondering that missing piece to care. The demon revealed herself as Atarashi, offering her shelter and a safe space. To which she accepted. One of Atarashi's associates by the name of Dr. Kaida soon grew fascinated by her situation, eager to learn more. To do so, he'd pretend to adore her, care for her, making her feel as though he was her missing piece. Renkou's naivety let him get away with everything. All she knew was that he loved her. During a fight between Yona and Atarashi, Dr, Kaida is killed by Midori and Renkou had been kidnapped by a strange man in the crossfire. His name was Azrael. He was a former devotee to Atarashi who had been banished for saving a woman about to be sacrificed. Such a foolish reason. Renkou didn't trust him, still shaken by the death of the man who manipulated her. Azrael spoke often of Atarashi's cruelties and a woman that broke his heart. The pang of sympathy making her feel safer, if not closer to him. It was their sorrows that brought them together.
