yeah, it is definitely a very variable matter, just wanted to point out that "...though the cold is far better than the heat..." is maybe not very accurate for my particular situation XP

Fair....That can be true, it most certainly can. Often is. Although I will say, I kinda live in an area where we've gotten in the -30s and only in recent years it has been too hot in the summers.... I hate summer & hot weather though, highly cold resistant.

I know this from experience: When you are used to hot weather most of the time, you start to prefer colder climates, and the inverse when you are used to the cold

Florida sucks for temp

haha we get winter here

currently 21°c or 70ish°f so not dying temperature rn

but honestly i thought that summer here was really hot until i went to florida and died in 40°c temperatures
