Hell to the yes! The UN does world population surveys every few years, so I used that data for how many hexes I filled for each country. And then I used various national censuses and official estimates for the racial statistics, most countries actually do collect official data on ethnicity fairly often.
Anyways I'm glad you like it! It took me a lot of work to put it all together :)
